Liz Garza Williams

Photographing women is Liz Garza Williams’ specialty. She is known for making women look and feel beautiful. In this issue of SAN ANTONIO WOMAN, she photographed Profile Elisa Chan for the cover and the accompanying story, adding, “She was a joy to work with and very passionate about her company, Unintech, as well as her service as City Councilwoman for District 9. The three women photographed for the feature story exemplify courage, compassion and wisdom as they teach us about three very important causes.” The fashion spread was shot at Alteza condominiums above the Grand Hyatt. “Fashion photography allows me the freedom to be creative; expressing myself visually is what I live for,” says Garza Williams.

After “start exercising” and “stop smoking/drinking/ overeating,” “get organized” is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions. No wonder — organizing the chaos in your home or office can foster a sense of calm and control, save money and time and reduce stress and frustration levels. According to a survey by the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), 71 percent of respondents said their quality of life would improve by just getting organized — chances are you agree. Luckily, dozens of NAPO members work here in San Antonio. We’ll talk to four completely collected women, each with her own area of organizational expertise, and offer tips on getting at least one of your New Year’s resolutions off to the right start.
