The wonderful winter social season began with the Blue and White Ball, celebrating the San Antonio Museum of Arts world class collection of blue and white porcelain.
The spring social season was filled with fabulous and fun events celebrating women and children — from glamorous galas under the stars to luncheons featuring inspiring mothers to one-of-a kind runway fashion shows.
When I was given the bad news that my gig writing the weekly Social Seen column for another publication was over, my first reaction was “what am I going to do with all these shoes?” But lucky for me and my shoes, SAN ANTONIO WOMAN editor Beverly Purcell-Guerra and fearless publisher Mike Gaffney made me an offer I couldn’t refuse, and I’ll be hanging my fancy party hat here from now on.
