All around us are individuals who are taking actions that are positive in the here and now and that will have favorable ramifications in the years to come.

Take, for example, the women spotlighted in our feature article. All four are dedicated to teaching young people — through art, swimming, gymnastics and an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Each one loves what she does, and each one is helping children and teenagers learn positive life skills that bode well for the next generation.
